It was another easy route - just a few rollers, but quite flat overall. Not sure why we are getting so many winds of the headwind sort - the locals say that is not normal. Anyhow, we were working hard to go just 13 mph at some points in the morning. Luckily, things got a lot better in the afternoon and we were able to push a better pace.
We did get into a few small hills that let us get into some woodsy areas - a nice change from all the crops we've been looking at.
Here's one for the trivia game: we passed through Wilbur Wright's birthplace town today.
The usual 4 were joined by Willie again for the afternoon and this time all four of us joined him for the fire station visit (see yesterday's post).
